www.sportsecyclopedia.com/Drama of March The madness has officially begun as teams needing to impress in the final days before selection Sunday were hard at work in their conference tournaments. One game in the American Conference Quarterfinals in Orlando showed the best March has to offer as two bubble teams Connecticut and Cincinnati met in what is likely an elimination game. The two teams would not give an inch going back and forth into overtime. Two overtimes were not enough as UConn and Cincinnati traded the lead back and forth. The third overtime is where the game turned insane as the Bearcats appeared to have the game won when Kevin Johnson banked in a three pointer to break the tie with 0.8 seconds left. As Cincinnati was celebrating, Jalen Adams threw up a prayer from half court that went in sending the game to a fourth overtime. From there it was all UConn as the Huskies won the game 104-97.
