www.sportsecyclopedia.com/Born Free With the start of the NFL new year on Wednesday teams began agreeing to deals with Free Agents ahead of the signing period which will begin at 4 PM Eastern Time. Some of the big names on the move include pass rusher Mario Williams who coming off a disappointing season with the Buffalo Bills agreed to a two-year deal worth $17 million with the division rival Miami Dolphins. Williams who seemed to not fit with Coach Rex Ryan's system was released by Buffalo last month. Other notable deals announced on Tuesday included the Jacksonville Jaguars upgrading their defense by agreeing with Denver Broncos pass rusher Malik Jackson, for a deal said to be worth $15 million a year, while the Oakland Raiders poached Bruce Irvin away from the Seattle Seahawks. Meanwhile it was home sweet home for Jason Pierre Paul who stayed put with a one-year deal with the New York Giants.
