Thunder Heart For the second time in a month, the Oklahoma City Thunder had to deal with tragedy after part-owner Aubrey McClendon was killed in a one car crash on Wednesday. Early indications are that McClendon may have taken his own life as he was named in a Federal indictment on Tuesday for his involvement in price fixing for oil and natural gas leases in Northwest Oklahoma. Early on the Thunder came out inspired scoring 37 points in the first quarter on the way to building a 58-38 halftime lead against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center. The Thunder appeared to be cruising to a big road win, leading 85-68 at the start of the fourth quarter. The Clippers would however turn things around, scoring 22 points in six minutes. The Clippers would outscore the Thunder 35-13 in the fourth to win the game 103-98. Leading the way for the Clippers was DeAndre Jordan who had 20 points and 18 boards. www.sportsecyclopedia.com/
