1966: Los Angeles Dodgers hurlers Don Drysdale and Sandy Koufax announce they are holding out seeking a three-year deal that will give the two a combined $1 million. The two also announce they are hiring an agent. Owner Walter O'Malley refuses to deal with an agent, and after a month Koufax and Drysdale eventually settle for one year deals after dismissing their agent.
