1966: The Boston Celtics celebrate a decade of dominance by edging the Los Angeles Lakers 95-93 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. The win gives the Celtics an unmatched eight straight NBA Championships and nine in ten straight final appearances. It would be the final game coached by Red Auerbach who moves to the front office, allowing star Center Bill Russell to coach the team to two more titles in 1968 and 1969.
