1956: Rocky Marciano continues to dominate the heavyweight division knocking out Archie Moore in the ninth round of a title fight at Yankee Stadium. It is the seventh time Marciano defended the heavyweight title since winning it in 1952. It would be Rocky Marciano's final defense, as the "Brockton Blockbuster" retired following the fight. Rocky Marciano at 32 would never fight again retiring with a perfect 49-0 record.
