www.sportsecyclopedia.com Burns and Desire The San Jose Sharks once again have the Los Angeles Kings on the brink, following a 3-2 win in Game 4 at SAP Center. With the win the Sharks hold a 3-1 advantage over their nemesis. After a frustrating overtime loss in Game 3, the Sharks came out looking to dominate Game 4 at home as Martin Jones and the Sharks defense kept the Kings off the board for the first two periods. The Sharks meanwhile, took a 2-0 lead with two power play goals in the second period, one by Brent Burns and another by Joe Pavelski. The Sharks added a third power play goal by Patrick Marleau in the third period. The Kings though would get back in the game with goals by Trevor Lewis and Luke Schenn. That would be it as Jones and the Sharks held off the Kings late charge. The Sharks have been in this position before only to let down, blowing a 3-0 series advantage to the Kings in 2014.
