1916: After two decades at the West Side Grounds, the Chicago Cubs move into their new home Weegham Park. The stadium located on the Corner and Addison, had served as home of Chicago's Federal League team for two seasons. The day starts with a parade from Grant Park through downtown. The Cubs would win their opener 7-6 in 11 innings. The new park would later be renamed Wrigley Field.
