Poor weather dampens the attendance, as the Dodgers defeat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4 in ten innings as Roy Campanella ties the game and later scores on a Rube Walker sac fly. The Dodgers will play 15 games in the Garden State in 1956 and 1957.
