After getting two assists in a 3-2 win in Game 1, Johnson had a big four-point game as Tampa defeated the Wings 5-2 in Game 2. After the Wings evened the score early in the third period on a power play goal by Brad Richards, Tyler Johnson got his first goal of the series at 6:32 giving the Lightning a 3-2 lead. Johnson would give Tampa a much needed insurance goal eight minutes later. The series returns Sunday in Detroit. Elsewhere the Florida Panthers rebounded from a tough loss in Game 1 to beat the New York Islanders 3-1 as Roberto Luongo made 41 saves, while the Chicago Blackhawks evened their series with the St. Louis Blues with a 3-2 win. Meanwhile in the series opener the Nashville Predators stunned the Anaheim Ducks 3-2.
