1981: Carlton Fisk who became a free agent after the Boston Red Sox failed to mail his contract in time, comes back to haunt his old team on Opening Day at Fenway Park. Fisk who signed with the Chicago White Sox on March 18th gives his new team a 3-2 lead by hitting a three run home run over the Green Monster in the eighth inning. The White Sox would go on to win the game 5-3.
