It looked like the Padres took Scully's advice because three games into the season they have yet to score a run, as the Dodgers completed the sweep with a 7-0 win at Petco Park. On Monday it was Clayton Kershaw handcuffing the Padres, while Scott Kazmir did the honors in his Dodger debut on Tuesday. In the finale it was Kenta Maeda tie the Padres in knots in his American debut. Maeda the latest star to join the Dodgers from Japan signed an eight-year, $25 million contract in January after staring for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. In his debut Kenta Maeda spread five hits over six innings, with four strikeouts, and added a solo home run in his second at bat in the fourth inning.
